"I received my Juicer within 2 days and would like to thank you very much for the prompt and efficient ordering of the Juicer, the vegetable cutter (pasta maker) and the Dehydrator. I thought the content of the Rawjuvenate For Life Program was excellent. It was delivered in a very professional manner, extra information and handouts were topical, and the follow on from each session was obviously given a great deal of consideration.
Assignments for each week did not rush from one way of eating to another, you advised ways to incorporate the new regime into a way of life, provided recipes, cooking demonstrations, displayed required cooking utensils and even gave us a list of things we should keep in the pantry.
Also having health enhancing items for sale was a bonus. Seeing and hearing of the changes that Nev experienced was an inspiration.
As you may have noted I am a prolific note taker and in the 4 weeks of the program I accumulated about 20 pages of notes and, along with your handouts, have been given a wealth of information to consider.
With regard to myself, I know it takes 21 days to form a habit, so I am juicing heaps of different vegetables every morning. Vegetables include celery, carrot, apple, beetroot, cucumber, spinich and some herbs and fresh ginger. My fruit smoothies contain coconut water and flesh, soaked nuts and banana, mango, pawpaw or berries etc. Rawlicious!!
I have made several recipes from both the recipe handouts and your book. I love the Alfredo and Tomato sauce for "pasta". I found it easier to spend a few hours on a Sunday, after I have been to the organic market, making things and freezing if possible. The organic tomatoes dried in the dehydrator are delicious.
Due to a time factor I have been taking the juice to work for my breakfast and sipping on it until about 10 or 11am. Then I will have some fruit and later in the afternoon a large raw vegetable salad with lots of different vegetables.
At the moment due to my long work days, when I return home at night I am looking for something more substantial than a cold salad or piece of fruit. I usually have some lightly steamed vegetables such as corn, greens, sweet potato, mushrooms and tomatoes etc. This is an essential course of action for me to sustain this new way of eating long term. As time goes by I may be able to convert to a 100% raw diet. Changing the mindset and knowing that I could be satisfied with just a mango for dinner is a gradual thing.
I am feeling a lot better, aches and pains are gradually disappearing and I am sure I will soon have enough energy to factor more exercise into my day.
Looking forward to seeing you (and Nev) again for some more raw inspiration and attending the buffet dinners.
Regards
